On the outside of a hard drive case, there is a little hole that says ';do not cover this hole';...?

What is that little hole for?

Is it a HD reset or something? On the outside of a hard drive case, there is a little hole that says ';do not cover this hole';...?
It's your Hard Drives Rectum :-)

It's there to avoid pressure changes within the hard drive.

You can also use it to kill your hard drive when you no longer want it. I take a center punch and a hammer and kill it by slamming all the disc's inside into one another. On the outside of a hard drive case, there is a little hole that says ';do not cover this hole';...?
that hole is used for emitting heat from inside the HDD
It is a breathing hole to keep the pressure inside the drive at a certain level.
