I don't get along with my neighbors and sometimes my alarm goes off (day or night). I rapidly go outside and check my car to see what happened and I usually find small rocks on the ground. I have never seen them thrown something at my car, but I'm positive it is them.
One: We don't get along.
Two: When the alarm goes off my neighbors are usually outside in their porch.What's a good type of car cover that will protect my car in case something is thrown at my car?
u may not get along since of that and ya i woulkd be pissed of if a alarm is keepin me up!!!!!! put out a cam. and if u catch them the can pay for damageWhat's a good type of car cover that will protect my car in case something is thrown at my car?
It is possible to buy a type of car cover that is called a hail blanket.
They are fairly dear, but they are very thick and will protect a car from hail dents, so im sure that if someone is throwing rocks, it cant be with much more force than a hailstone.
You might also like to buy a normal car cover and try putting a old blanket on the bonnet, roof and boot. This may give the same effect.
Otherwise, consult the manual for your alarm, as it is possible to reduce the sensitivity of the alarm. Mine used to go off when a neighbours cat jumped on the hood to keep warm in the night.
I think that cameras might be a good idea too.
armor plating... nasty neighbors are the worst. Get a video camera and leave it running in a bush or a tree one night to get them on camera. then take it to the police. but if that is the route you take they might hit you harder. I believe in ';doing it yourself';. If anyopne threw rocks at my car, they might end up with a punctured tire...
It is either you live in a house whereby you can park your car in a garage or better still get a new apartment so that you can put your mind at rest of unfriendly neighbor. Good luck
The only thing that will protect your car from rocks is a garage.
garage!

Do you think health insurance will cover a breast reduction surgery in my case??? Read please!?
Okay, I have very large breast and I am wanting to get reduction surgery. I am 21 years old and I currently wear a 36L...I have really bad back pain everyday, I have severe shoulder pain and markings from my bra straps, and being that my cup size is so huge but my band size in not my boobs pull down on my bra and it has caused open flesh sores on my back....ugh!! I am too young for all this! I have tried everything! I can never find a good fitting bra, and I do not have the money to keep buying them. I currently cannot afford the surgery...do you think health insurance will cover the procedure?? Btw...I do not have health insurance yet b/c I cannot afford it but if they will cover it I will try to find extra work to pay for it....I am literally in pain every single day....any suggestions?Do you think health insurance will cover a breast reduction surgery in my case??? Read please!?
Here is where you might run into a problem. If you have seen a doctor about your back problem, you could run into a problem buying insurance, as they could declare this a ';pre-existing'; condition and refuse coverage for it. If you have not seen a doctor about it, DON'T. Wait until you have the insurance before seeing a doctor or you may not be able to have it covered. If you can get the insurance through open enrollment at work, where they don't ask any medical questions, you might be okay.
If you have not discussed this with a doctor, here's what you do. Buy the insurance, wait for a while, month or so, see a doctor regarding the problem, have him recommend that you have a consult with a plastic surgeon, usually free, and then contact insurance company to see if they will cover it with referral from your medical doctor to cure your back problem. If all of that goes well, they will almost always cover this surgery or at least 80% of it, depends on your policy coverage.
hope this helps..Do you think health insurance will cover a breast reduction surgery in my case??? Read please!?
I agree with Eros... I also had a friend who had the same issue (less symptoms) and her surgery was covered by insurance. The doctor will pretty much have to tell the insurance company that the cost to not do it will be more then if it was done.. Sounds like a no-brainer in your case.
Good luck and I hope you find some relief soon!
i was a 32DDD/E, it took my 3 insurances over 5 years to find one that covered it 100%. i had one in october and i am very happy with the result.
good luck.
it might you are going to have to call around to insurance company's they will tell you im sorry about your situation hope all gets better
I'm not an expert on this, however I would suggest you take a tour here http://www.HealthInsuranceIdeas.info/free-online-health-insurance.htm ,there are expert's tips there.

On the outside of a hard drive case, there is a little hole that says ';do not cover this hole';...?
What is that little hole for?
Is it a HD reset or something?On the outside of a hard drive case, there is a little hole that says ';do not cover this hole';...?
It's your Hard Drives Rectum :-)
It's there to avoid pressure changes within the hard drive.
You can also use it to kill your hard drive when you no longer want it. I take a center punch and a hammer and kill it by slamming all the disc's inside into one another.On the outside of a hard drive case, there is a little hole that says ';do not cover this hole';...?
that hole is used for emitting heat from inside the HDD
It is a breathing hole to keep the pressure inside the drive at a certain level.

Typical new car warranty--what's covered? I've got a unique case here...?
Most new car warranties cover bumper-to-bumper for 3-5 yrs (depending on make) with exceptions for things like trim, upholstery, etc., which are usually less, maybe one year for example. Let's say my seatbelt retractor mechanism doesn't work properly (defect?). Because I didn't notice (or wasn't careful, or in a hurry, or whatever) I exited the vehicle and closed the door, but the seat belt latch was dangling because of this problem (it wouldn't be dangling if it worked properly). As a result, the trim on the door or seat was scratched, gouged, torn, etc. The seat belt is under warranty; the trim/upholstery is now out of waranty (car is 2 yrs old, let's say). Generally, SHOULD THIS TRIM/UPHOLSTERY BE REPAIRED/REPLACED UNDER WARRANTY AT NO CHARGE? I know some might say, ';it depends.'; What make is the car? How good a customer are you? What are the market conditions at the time and in your area? I know. But I'm looking for a general answer--what is the industry standard? Thanks.Typical new car warranty--what's covered? I've got a unique case here...?
Try several dealers to see what is covered. Be reasonable, but persistent in getting what the warranty allows.

i read your description twice.. and the only remedy you have is colossion insurance.. i know the retractor was bad but you cant prove that .. i would just turn it in to the insurance under colission.. damage.. and you dont know how it got there.. i did a simular thing. i carry a pocket watch i have it on my belt and pocket.. and going to a destination i kept hearing this metallic noise.. later on that day i looked for my watch and it was gone.. somehow the cable that i hook to it came off my pants belt loop and fell on the floor and was draged for 5 miles ruining my watch.. i just bought another.

Have any Egyptian news agencies covered the Sharif Gabril sexual harassment case?
The Wikipedia entry:

In pixels, how big should a cd cover be in order to fit a regular cd case?
Please help.In pixels, how big should a cd cover be in order to fit a regular cd case?
It depends on the resolution. If you're printing, it should be at LEAST 300 dots per inch. The average CD cover is approx 5'; wide, so that would be 1500 pixels wide.In pixels, how big should a cd cover be in order to fit a regular cd case?
In inches the deimensions of a CD cover are: 4.75'; w x 4.715'; h
in pixels this would be: 342 w. x 339 h. (I converted it in photoshop so it might not be exact)
Assuming that you are doing the image in 300 DPI insert for a CD case is 4.75 x 4.75 inches which translates to 1425 x 1425 pixels.
792 x 612 pixels. I use the Neato CD templetes. You can download them for your computer and print them out on their special paper.
oops. i converted the 8 x 10 page and not the CD size. the size i got after conversion (from a Neato templete) is 348 x 693 - that's for a front and back CD cover.
I agree, its is based on the DPI of the image. You want a 5 x 5 image (in inches) so fit a way to design the cover with a program capable of using that type of measurement as the basis and then as noted above, create the image with a base DPI of 300 or HIGHER.
I don't know the exact dimensions of a cd case, but let's say it's 5.5 inches. If your image is saved at 300 dpi (dots per inch) the image would need to be 5.5 x 300 or 1650 pixels by 1650 pixels, and of course you would need to print the image at 300 dpi also.
I THINK this might be it:
Front: Width = 12.1 cm
Height = 12.1 cm
Resolution = 1715 x 1715 pixels
Back (sides included): Width = 15.0 cm
Height = 11.75 cm
Resolution = 2126 x 1665 pixels
Can't you convert the measurements in Photoshop or whatever it is you're using to inches or cms?
The referenced link has some templates in common formats so that you can get the dimensions for the front panel and tray card. The number of pixels will depend on the printing resolution you want; for example, if you choose 300 DPI, multiply the inches by 300.
If you need to convert to and from metric, there are 25.4 mm to an inch.
You should really have a good talk with your printer about what a good resolution would be for bitmapped elements. 300-600 DPI is commonly requested for color work, as high as 1200 for line art. TIFF is kind of the standard for printed bitmaps.
A much, much better idea for line art and text is to use a vector version. Again, talk with your print vendor about file format preferences.
If you are looking to print something yourself on an inkjet printer, you will have to dig into its settings or manual to find what its esolution capabilties are. The 300-600 still ought to work as a rough guideline, but you'll have to run some test pages and see what looks good in real life.
Oh yes, and don't forget to make your image a little larger than you really want it to be (that is, leave a bleed area), and try not to have important information too near the cut lines. That will keep you from having ugly unprinted borders or missing text if the cutting is slightly off.
Depends at what resolution (ie. how many pixels per inch) you plan to print at.

So this is what our educational systems are producing, ppl to lazy to whip out a ruler. Thanks for the pts!Does anyone know the size of a dvd case or at least the size of the paper that goes in the cover? Thanks?
The paper under the plastic is 10 3/4 in. X 7 1/4 in.
The DVD case inserts are a single printed sheet that measures 273mm x 183mm and it slots in behind the clear plastic cover on the outside of DVD cases.
